These terms are written for practical booking clarity. If a specific tour has custom conditions, those written booking details will apply together with these terms.
1. Booking and confirmation
A booking is confirmed only once Fred has accepted the date, itinerary, group details, and any agreed payment or deposit requirements in writing. All tours are subject to guide availability, timing, weather, access, traffic, and practical considerations.
2. Tour types and itinerary scope
Cape Town WOW Tours offers guided Cape Town experiences such as city highlights, coastal sightseeing, scenic day outings, family or group tours, and custom options discussed during booking.
Itinerary length, travel time, stops, access fees, timing, and availability can vary. Guests should choose a plan that suits their interests, comfort, and schedule.
3. Travel and outing risk
Cape Town tours can include public places, outdoor viewpoints, walking between stops, changing weather, traffic, crowds, uneven surfaces, heat, wind, and other normal travel conditions.
By joining a tour, you acknowledge these practical risks and agree to participate responsibly.
4. Health, fitness, and guest responsibility
- Guests are responsible for choosing a tour plan that suits their comfort and mobility.
- Any injuries, medical conditions, medication needs, pregnancy, mobility limits, or relevant concerns should be disclosed before the tour.
- Guests should bring comfortable shoes, water, sun protection, warm layers, snacks, and any items requested by the guide.
- Guests must follow the guide's instructions and act with care for themselves, the group, and the places visited.
5. Guide decisions and safety
Fred or the assigned guide may change the itinerary, pace, start time, stop order, or plan if conditions make this sensible. A tour may also be postponed, shortened, or cancelled where safety, weather, access, traffic, or group wellbeing requires it.
Guide decisions are made in the best interests of the group and must be respected during the tour.
6. Arrival and punctuality
Guests should arrive at the confirmed meeting point on time, preferably 10 to 15 minutes early. Late arrival can affect the schedule, group timing, and planned stops. If a guest misses the agreed start time, participation, refunds, or rescheduling are not guaranteed.
7. Weather, access, and itinerary changes
Cape Town conditions can change quickly. If weather, access, traffic, events, or availability affect the plan, Fred may suggest a different stop order, time, date, or cancellation.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation, refund, reschedule, and no-show rules are explained in the Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Children and minors
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tour plans for children are considered case by case according to age, interests, comfort, timing, and conditions on the day.
10. Transport, pickup, and meeting points
Transport, pickup, drop-off, or meeting details depend on the agreed tour. Exact arrangements are confirmed after booking and may depend on the selected itinerary.
11. Photos and media
Photos or short videos may be taken during tours for memories, tour promotion, or social media. If you do not want to appear in photos or videos, please tell Fred before the tour begins.
12. Personal belongings and insurance
Guests are responsible for their own belongings, valuables, travel insurance, medical insurance, cancellation cover, and any rescue, medical, evacuation, or transport costs that may arise.
13. Limitation of liability
Cape Town WOW Tours and its guides take reasonable care when planning and guiding tours. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, they are not liable for loss, injury, illness, delays, costs, or damage arising from travel conditions, guest actions, third-party services, or circumstances outside their reasonable control.
14. Website and third-party services
This website may link to services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, or payment and booking platforms. Those services are operated by third parties and have their own terms and privacy practices.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
